There are a few Eve-isms that still show up in her speech. She says hood, instead of hid. For example, "I hood all my stuffed animals under the crib." And when she sleeps, she lays her head on her pullow. And a swing goes back and forruf. I've heard her say forth- she wanted to learn a poem, so we did a nice, short, springy one:
March winds
And April showers
Bring forth
May flowers
No problem. (And no pilgrims).

We still are required to act out pretty much every book we read, TV show or movie we watch, and lately, even the stories and anecdotes we tell each other.
One night, Eve wanted to play Wizard of Oz. Mommy and Daddy were resisting, because it was bedtime. In her best "teacher" voice, she cajoled us with, "Now Daddy, you can be the wicked witch, because you are a little bit mean!"

And in the real world, Eve's school (the one that has been closed since October) has reopened. Today was her first day back, and she was excited to see her friends again.
