We had a wonderful Christmas with my folks and my brother, but we're missing all the family and friends that are far away from us today.
At one point, Eve got in trouble for spinning around and launching Sheepy (her special lovey) indiscriminately- and knocking the phone onto the floor. I realized that she had spent the whole day indoors, with lots of snacks and little opportunity for running around. So we took a walk, and Eve rode her new two-wheeler (with the training wheels, natch) around the block. It even has a basket for Sheepy to ride in.
Willa isn't quite ready for a two-wheeler, but she is rolling and wiggling all over the place. She sits up pretty well, but still occasionally will tip over, so you have to keep an eye on her. And just today she started a new type of babbling, with the repeated consonants- "bwah bwah bwah bwah". Plus, raspberries. All sorts of fun sounds.
