Gives me a toothache

Sometimes, Eve is pure sweetness. She shares things no one expects her to share. Spontaneously. On an outing with our playgroup, one of the moms bought a large cookie (a sugar cookie with M&Ms- one of Eve's favorites), and broke off pieces for each of the big kids. Eve ate about half of her piece, then went around to the moms and the babies, and gave them each a tiny chunk of her own piece. When we protested, she insisted, so we ate our crumbs and said "Thank you."

Eve is dressing up as the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz for Halloween. I will be Dorothy, and Dave is the Tin Man. We do not have a lion. Eve has not seen the movie. I read portions of the original novel to her. I skipped the scary parts, but she was quite upset by the wizard. Not because he was scary, but because he refused to help Dorothy and her friends the first time they arrived at the Emerald City. But there's something about the characters that grabs you- even with only fragments of the story, Eve is enchanted. My mom made Eve's costume!
