I felt the baby move for the first time yesterday! I was doing some research for work at the library, so I was leaning forward to pore over an ancient tome, and my burgeoning belly was sort of squeezed. Then I heard a small child calling out for her Mommy, and perhaps I had a surge of maternal hormones- maybe it was a coincidence- but I distinctly felt movement at that moment!
Up to this point, I have found myself forgetting that I am pregnant- with being so busy at work and at home lately, plus this pregnancy has been so much easier than the last one, it's not so surprising. So I'm particularly glad that this little pie (now avocado-sized) is making its presence known.
